Sooryavanshi Movie : Sooryavanshi is Rohit Shetty directed by Rohit Shetty and directed by Rohit Shetty under his
banners Rohit Shetty Picture and Dharma Productions respectively and Karan Johar's upcoming
Indian Hindi-language action film, produced in collaboration with Reliance Entertainment and
Cape of Good Films. This is Shetty's fourth installment of Police Universe and features Akshay
Kumar as a titular character alongside Katrina Kaif. Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh made their
roles in Bajirao Singham and Sangaram Bhalerao (Simba) in cameos from the franchise's previous
films Singham and Simmba.
Kumar's character was announced towards the end of Simba which served as Sooryavanshi's
character introduction. He is playing the role of DCP Veer Soravanshi, who heads the Anti-
Terrorism Squad. Principal photography for the film began in May 2019 and was completed in
November 2019. It is to be released in India on 27 March 2020.
