Like Karaan New Panjabi Song: The story of this film revolves around 'Fateh' (played by Jordan Sandhu), who works as an RJ to earn money and fulfill his childhood dream of becoming a singer. After his huge fan following, he meets 'Meet' (played by Diljot), who loves him. They both get attracted towards each other and fall in love. But as usual this path is not so easy. The girl's father 'Kanwar Mahinder Singh' (played by talented comedian B. N. Sharma), who works for the Punjab Electricity Board, is already unhappy with her family, office workers and her entire life. He is a very superstitious person who causes laughter and fun. A gangster, an astrologer, a hypocrite and with many ups and downs due to various circumstances, the story moves forward in a comic and interesting way. Will Meet get his love, will Fateh become a singer, excitement will return to the life of his Kanwar Mahinder Singh? All these questions are answered in an entertaining way in the film The Khatre Da Ghuggu.
